Orthodontic Treatments
We assess the position of the teeth and jaws to plan personalised treatment options that support oral health, bite alignment and the appearance of the smile.
TOOTH POSITION AND BITE ALIGNMENT ASSESSED TOGETHER
Orthodontic treatments aim to move the teeth in a controlled manner by assessing crowding, spacing and bite problems.
The treatment plan is created by considering the patient’s age, tooth and jaw structure, oral health and suitability for treatment. Fixed braces, clear aligners or different appliances used during growth may be considered.
- Personalised orthodontic assessment
- Assessment of tooth position and bite alignment
- Treatment options suitable for different age groups
- Regular check-ups and follow-ups throughout treatment
Our Orthodontic Treatment Options
The appropriate treatment method is determined by assessing tooth position, bite alignment, the patient’s age and individual treatment needs.
CLEAR ALIGNERS
In suitable cases, controlled tooth movement is planned using removable clear aligners prepared specifically for the patient.
METAL BRACES
An orthodontic treatment in which tooth movement is guided through regular check-ups using brackets and wires attached to the teeth.
PAEDIATRIC ORTHODONTICS
The development of a child’s teeth and jaws is monitored to assess existing orthodontic concerns or problems that may develop.
WHAT DOES THE ORTHODONTIC TREATMENT PROCESS INVOLVE?
ORTHODONTIC EXAMINATION
Tooth position, the relationship between the jaws, bite alignment and facial structure are assessed. The patient’s needs and expectations are discussed.
DIAGNOSTIC RECORDS
When necessary, intraoral and facial photographs, digital impressions or models, and radiographic records are taken.
TREATMENT PLANNING
Treatment goals are determined using the examination findings and diagnostic records. The suitability of fixed braces, clear aligners or other appliances is assessed.
TREATMENTTREATMENT
The selected orthodontic system is applied. The appliances to be used and the points requiring the patient’s attention are explained in detail.
REGULAR CHECK-UPS
Tooth movement and the response to treatment are monitored at regular intervals. Necessary adjustments and treatment plan updates are carried out.
RETENTION
Following active treatment, suitable retainers are planned to help maintain the new positions of the teeth.
The stages and duration of treatment vary from person to person. Your treatment plan will be determined following an examination by your dentist.
F.A.Q. ABOUT ORTHODONTIC TREATMENTS
Is orthodontic treatment only suitable for children?
How is the most suitable orthodontic treatment determined?
Dişlerin konumu, kapanış problemi, çene ilişkisi, kişinin yaşı ve tedaviye uyumu değerlendirilir. Şeffaf plaklar, sabit braketler veya farklı apareylerin uygunluğu ortodontik muayene sonrasında belirlenir.
How long does orthodontic treatment take?
Tedavi süresi problemin kapsamına, seçilen yönteme, dişlerin tedaviye verdiği yanıta ve kişinin aparey kullanımına bağlıdır. Tahmini süre tanısal değerlendirme sonrasında paylaşılır.
Is orthodontic treatment painful?
Apareylerin uygulanmasından veya kontrollerden sonra dişlerde geçici basınç ve hassasiyet hissedilebilir. Şiddetli veya uzun süren ağrı durumunda tedaviyi yürüten hekime başvurulmalıdır.
How should oral hygiene be maintained during treatment?
Dişler ve diş araları düzenli şekilde temizlenmelidir. Sabit braket kullanan kişilerin braket çevrelerini ve tel altlarını uygun araçlarla temizlemesi gerekir. Kişiye özel bakım önerileri tedavi başlangıcında açıklanır.
Can the teeth move again after orthodontic treatment?
Dişlerde zamanla yeniden hareket oluşabilir. Bu nedenle aktif tedavinin ardından önerilen pekiştirme apareylerinin belirtilen şekilde kullanılması ve kontrollerin sürdürülmesi önemlidir.
